Posted in: Blog, FluidSurveys - News by admin on July 31, 2009

Prospective customers always ask us, how does FluidSurveys Compare to the likes of SurveyMonkey and Zoomerang. Fair question. Both of those companies have been around for a while and so naturally, their names do come up. From our perspective, we’ve made it a point to offer more features, a more innovative and intuitive user interface, and lower pricing. You can check out this comparison table to SurveyMonkey and this comparison table to Zoomerang.

FluidSurveys has a focus on the enterprise and the web. We allow our customers to choose to use our website for a survey solution and even allow customers to install our software on their own servers. This two-pronged strategy has contributed a great deal to who we are today. At the end of the day, everyone will have their own favorite tool. We believe that we have a very compelling offering and any of our users will attest to that :)

You may want to copy and paste questions from one page of the survey onto another. No design is final and so a lot of these changes to the survey are indeed expected. In order to deal with them, FluidSurveys offers you a nice and easy to use right click menu that will allow you to move questions from one page onto another. Online Survey Software Hosted Securely in Canada

Posted in: Blog, FluidSurveys - News by admin on July 18, 2009

As a result of the United States Patriot Act, many Canadian Institutions are now looking to sign up for web services that host their data in Canada. The same sort of rules apply for the use of online survey software. The good news for Canadians is that when you sign up from Canada, FluidSurveys will host all of your data in Canada. This is important since some provinces such as British Columbia have taken extra measures to address privacy concerns.

According to Osler, they have “amended their public sector privacy legislation, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). The amendments, which became law on October 21, 2004, place tough new restrictions on storing, accessing and disclosing of B.C. public sector data by service providers.”

We are pleased to be able to address the needs of Canadians. FluidSurveys is a product of Chide.it Inc. with headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. As the company serves the needs of the Federal Government of Canada, it is well aware of such rules and regulations and is taking all steps to ensure the protection of privacy of all Canadians when it comes to Survey Software.
