Configuring CSV Files from French
If your CSV system is configured in French it may not export the values set in the survey responses properly. Excel uses the international standards for decimals, which is the comma “,” in the place of the decimal “.” when opening a file.
From that moment the comma “,” is not available anymore for conversion in CSV files, and it then substitutes in a semi-colon “;”.
In order to reconfigure your CSV file properly you will need to do the following:
-First you will have to proceed with saving the Excel file in CSV;
-Then open it in notepad and automatically change all of the semi-colons into commas and save it with the same CSV extention.
Once this is done, it will be ready for import.
As a side note: Prior to this, you have to make sure that there are no commas in the text labels, because otherwise the structure of the file will be incorrect.
