Creating Multilingual Surveys with FluidSurveys

Supporting multilingual surveys has been a feature of FluidSurveys for quite some time now. Occassionally, we will receive phone calls or emails asking us how to enable this feature, so in today’s blog post we are going to show you just how easy it is to enable support for over 64 languages in your survey!

Once you are in the edit mode for your survey, look to the upper-right corner for this icon:

Multilingual Surveys

Clicking on this icon will give you the ability to add or remove the support for other languages in your survey:

02-Multilingual

After you’ve selected the languages that should be supported in your survey, you can now toggle between them using the drop-down menu:

03-Multilingual

Since we haven’t (yet!) developed artificial intelligence that automatically translates your survey from English to the other 64+ languages, you still need to do that work yourself 🙂 Your respondents will then be able to toggle between your supported languages as they complete your survey.

Here’s Another Cool Tip..

As you deploy your survey, you will be given the option to create a language-specific deployment URL. In other words, if you want your French-speaking respondents to be presented with the French version of your survey by default, and you want your English-speaking respondents to be presented with the English version of your survey by default, FluidSurveys can make that happen for you!
