Changes to offline survey deployment

Up to now, our offline survey offering has involved downloading a single HTML page containing all of the resources necessary for taking the survey. This has a couple of disadvantages for customers who need to deploy the surveys on tablet devices that do not offer ways to manage downloaded files. The new link, which you can find in the publishing section, uses the HTML5 cache manifest feature available in most modern browsers to allow you to visit a link even when an Internet connection is not available. To use it, simply visit the link once on your mobile or table device while connected to the Internet – you should now be able to load the page whenever you want. If for some reason you still need the old option, you can still manually add ?embed to the end of the URL.
