Dropdown Questions

Posted in: Features, Free, Question Types by admin on November 29, 2009

The dropdown question type is very similar to the multiple choice question type in that it allows respondents to choose one of the choices specified. Dropdown questions are ideal for situations when the list of choices is very long (such as list of countries or states/provinces) since the whole list is not shown at a given time. Dropdown questions are generally more favored in the world of accessibility standards since it is easier to click on a dropdown question choice rather than a single radio button.

How to Use:
In order to use a Dropdown Question, simply drag it from the list of questions (on the left side of your survey editor screen) and drop it onto the right side of your survey editor (where you see a live preview of the questions).

Once the question has been added, you can view the question options on the left side.
