The Akwesasne Labour Market Information Survey will provide local training organizations, educators, businesses, and community members with valuable insights into local skills and human resource requirements. It is designed to collect information on a range of labour issues, such as labour turnover, hard-to-fill positions, recruitment challenges, current skill shortages, and future skills/occupations in demand projections.

Survey Objective

The primary objective of the Akwesasne Labour Market Information Survey is to conduct employer and community member based surveys which will provide information to be utilized for projections of labour skills and training needs over the next 5 year period. The goal of this process is to support and strengthen Akwesasne’s Labour Market. Strengthening Akwesasne’s Labour Market will create greater success for local employment opportunities and promote economic prosperity for our Community.

•Your name/business will be entered into prize drawings that will be drawn throughout the survey period.If you agree, your name/company name will be announced as a Winner on CKON/Indian Time & Facebook.


•The survey has been designed to protect your identity. No specific identifying information will be made public.

•Your name and business name will not be published.

•Information from the survey questions will be used for statistical purposes and published in summarized form along with tables and graphs of the data only.

•Your name and business name will only be used for our communication with you for any needed follow up to provide information for training and other support programs in addition to entries in applicable prize drawings.
