You are invited to participate in the Doulas for Aboriginal Families Grant Program: Doula Service Provider Survey.
The BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres (BCAAFC) and the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) are proud to offer grant funding to pregnant Aboriginal women and families who live on-and off-reserve in BC to access doula services for prenatal, birth and postpartum support.
We would like to learn from your experiences in providing doula services through the Doulas for Aboriginal Families Grant Program to better understand what has been successful, the value and benefits of improving access to doula services, how current cost barriers might be addressed, and how the grant program might be improved upon moving forward. Responses from service providers are intended to be used for program evaluation and reporting purposes only. Please know that findings will be reported on at the group level; any information that you share will not be associated with personal identifiers, such as name (i.e., information will remain strictly anonymous). Both BCAAFC and FNHA want to make sure that your experience as a service provider is a positive one. Findings from this survey will help to ensure this goal is achieved.
The BCAAFC and the FNHA appreciate any time you set aside to complete this survey, and we look forward to learning from your experiences.
