The first of its kind in Canada, I-ADVANCE© will validate and recognize technical knowledge, industry experience, business and interpersonal skills and provide ICT professionals a career development path and tools.

Introduction and Purpose

Thank you for agreeing to participate in the Business Management Job Analysis Validation Survey conducted by the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC). This survey is part of a larger project of professional certification that recognizes technical and business competencies for information and communications technology (ICT) practitioners. Competencies are knowledge, skills, and abilities required by an individual to perform her or his job successfully.

The purpose of this survey is to validate the key competencies required by business management professionals working in any one/multiple occupation/s that are related, but not limited to Analysis Design, Problem Management, Capacity & Performance, Technical Marketing, ICT Management, Project Management, ICT Consultancy and Production Management. The results of this survey will be used to define certification exam specifications, namely the test blueprint.
