Prompting is an excellent way to get more respondents for your survey. Prompting can be put in place either when someone arrives to your website or chooses to leave your website. It is a very valuable resource when you want to be able to increase the number of respondents for your survey. How do you create a prompt? First, go to the publish page.

Next click on prompting.

A screen will show with “add a new prompt” click on it.

There you can change the “label” of your prompt.

Also you have the option to choose whether it will be in “English or French”, and if it will prompt them to take your survey when they first reach your website or when they are about to leave it (as an “entrance or exit” prompt).

Then customize your own personal message that will appear in the prompt.

You can decide the positioning of the prompt either at the center of the screen or off to one side, whatever you like. As well as change how long it will take to show up after they arrive at your website (i.e. delay for 5 seconds).

Then preview your prompt by clicking preview below the HTML code. A preview will display itself similar to this.

If you are happy with how it looks, you can save your prompt.

Then copy and paste the Iframe code into your website.

Once you make your survey live, your prompt will appear on your website. Check out our video tutorial on prompting.
